    Bad Girls Groove End of term report…..December 2017

    Another fearsomely funky year in the Bad Life Why? Read on….. We started 2017 with some truly cracking January gigs at the Chelsea Arts Club, Sindercombe Social and – to be forever remembered for all sorts of reasons (see below…) – in the Lake District at a private birthday party for Dez and Karelle in a barn in Cartmel near Grange-over-Sands.     Guinness Cork Jazz

    The Bads are truly honoured (and just slightly over-excited ) to be booked again for the 2017 Cork Guinness Jazz Festival. We have some new stuff and old stuff, some new faces and old faces and our new EP almost ready for release – above all we have the funky stuff ready to rock – look forward to seeing you in Cork for the Craic !

    End of term report…..December 2016

    Another great year for the Bads. • Why? Read on….. • We started the year with some sadness at losing an original Bad Girl, Sarah Goodwin, but, as the management gurus say, “change is good” and we were fortunate indeed, after exhaustive interviews, auditions and wine-drinking, to find some funky friends for Alice in the fetching forms of Susana Soriano, Leigh Hayward, Sophie Ray – and later in the year, Emily Luke-Taylor.     I Just Want To Be A Girl in the Band

    Before the Barefoot Blogger ever dreamed of living in France, I longed to be the lead singer in a rock band. No joke.
